About this product
Sika Sikaflex-292 is a white, non-sag, one-component polyurethane adhesive for structural joints in marine construction exposed to high dynamic stresses. It cures when exposed to atmospheric moisture and is supplied in a 10 oz. tube with a nozzle.
- Thixotropic, paste-like consistency with gap-filling properties
- Can be painted and bonds to a wide range of substrates, including metals, aluminum and anodized aluminum, two-component metal primers and paint coatings, ceramic materials, GRP, and ABS
- Solvent-free and very low VOC
- Application temperature: 10–35 °C (50–95 °F)
- For experienced professional users; test adhesion and material compatibility on actual substrates and conditions before use
- Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, and dust; surface preparation depends on the substrate
- Tool and finish within the sealant's skin time. Uncured adhesive can be removed with Sika Remover-208 or another suitable solvent; cured material can only be removed mechanically
