This Ancor Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing (ALT) is designed to provide a durable, weather-resistant seal for wire connections. The cross-linked polyolefin construction offers increased strength compared to standard PVC tubing and features a 3:1 shrink ratio, reducing from 1/2 in. diameter to 5/32 in.
- Includes one 48 in. section of black tubing
- Wire range: 8-4 AWG
- Heat-activated adhesive lining provides a seal against salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight
- Provides integrated strain relief
- Shrink temperature: 257°F (125°C)
- Operating temperature range: -40°C to 110°C
- UL 224 certified
- Regulatory note: This product contains di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
