The ARCO Marine Zeus A225S is a high-output 12V alternator designed for marine, RV, military, and commercial applications. Engineered for rapid charging of large battery banks, this unit features a 3.15" saddle-style mount and is compatible with small case styles like Hitachi, Lucas, and Mitsubishi, including most Yanmar engine configurations.
Key Features:
- High Output: Capable of 254 Amps maximum cold output at 9,000 RPM, with 157 Amps sustained idle output.
- Thermal Efficiency: Operates 8-20% cooler than standard alternators through the use of heat-shedding E-Coat/Cerakote finish, an externally mounted rectifier, and dual cooling fans.
- Reliability: SAE J1171 certified and constructed with OEM components.
- Versatile Regulation: Internally regulated with an adapter available for optional external regulation. Optimized for compatibility with the ARCO Zeus Bluetooth Alternator Regulator.
- Specifications: 16 rotor poles, 130mm stator, and 12 lb weight. Includes 49K6 6-groove pulley and M17 mounting hardware.
- Made in the U.S.A.
Note: Replacing a standard single "V" belt with a serpentine belt system is required for proper operation. This unit features an isolated ground and a terminal block.
