The ARCO Marine Zeus 48V Alternator Shield is designed to protect high-output alternators from voltage spikes and damaging disconnect events. When lithium battery BMS shutdowns or accidental switch interruptions occur, the shield clamps excess voltage and diverts it to ground to prevent diode failure and extend the life of your alternator.
