About this product
The BEP Marine 701-MDVS-D is a 275A voltage sensitive switch for managing charging between two battery banks. It senses battery voltage to combine or isolate the banks when a charging source is present, and supports remote emergency parallel operation.
- Continuous rating: 275A DC; intermittent rating: 455A DC; cranking rating: 1250A DC
- Voltage rating: 9.5–32V
- Deutsch connector, dual battery sensing, and manual override option
- Engages when either start or house battery reaches 13.7V. Engine-run sensing opens the contacts under specified low-voltage conditions: below 13.0V for 5 seconds with the engine off, or below 12.2V for 5 minutes with the engine running. When voltage is below 13V but above 12.2V while the engine is running, the switch stays engaged.
- A momentary dash button enables emergency parallel operation for 10 minutes. Afterward, the switch remains engaged if voltage supports operation or disengages otherwise.
- On/off operation; recessed or surface mounting; ignition protected
- Stud size: 2 x 10mm (3/8 in.)
- Power draw: 12mA off, 15mA on, and 120mA while operating for 3 seconds at 12V nominal
- Construction features tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts, and high-temperature, fiber-reinforced plastics
