The BEP Marine 701-MD-D is a remote-operated battery switch designed to be installed in close proximity to the battery, allowing for efficient management of high electrical loads. By enabling remote placement, this switch helps reduce both the length and gauge of required copper cabling, resulting in significant savings on installation costs and overall weight. It is well-suited for the remote isolation of bow and stern thrusters and includes a manual override feature to maintain compliance with CE and ABYC requirements.
