The BEP Marine 720-MDO Remote Operated Battery Switch with Optical Sensor is designed for installation near the battery to efficiently manage high electrical loads. This 500A switch helps reduce overall system weight and costs by minimizing the length and gauge of copper battery cabling required for bow and stern thrusters or other heavy-duty applications. It supports 12V and 24V systems and features an optical sensor that enables the switching of independent voltage circuits, such as 36V or 48V, while maintaining a low standby current draw of less than 5mA.

- Manual override functionality included to meet CE and ABYC requirements.
- Main contacts can be isolated from the control circuit for independent power sourcing.
- Designed for switching either positive or negative lines.

- Continuous rating: 500A DC; Intermittent rating: 700A DC; Cranking rating: 2500A DC.
- Voltage range: 9.5-32V DC.
