The Blue Sea Systems 187-Series Thermal Circuit Breaker combines circuit protection and switching into a single, waterproof device. Designed for easy installation, this unit features a round, self-trimming case that installs with a standard hole saw and includes recessed mounting holes for a clean finish.
Key Features:
- 70 Amp manual reset, trip-free design ensures the switch cannot be held ON during a fault.
- Ignition protected for safe use on gasoline-powered boats, meeting SAE J1171 requirements.
- Large, high-torque 5/16 in. terminal studs accommodate heavy gauge wire lugs.
- Clear lever provides visual indication of trip status and can be oriented vertically or horizontally.
- Voltage rating: 48 Volts DC maximum.
- Interrupt rating: 5,000 Amperes at 12V DC; 3,000 Amperes at 24V DC; 1,500 Amperes at 42V DC.
- Operating temperature range: -25°C to +82°C.
- Case construction: Thermoset polyester.
