The Blue Sea Systems ML-Series 7701 is a 12V DC remote battery switch engineered to handle 500 Amperes of continuous current. This solenoid is suitable for use as a remote battery switch in both gasoline and diesel-powered marine engine systems, effectively reducing long cable runs.
- Magnetic latching technology ensures power is only consumed during state changes, with no current draw in either the ON or OFF positions.
- Constructed with silver alloy contacts for reliable switching under live loads.
- Features 3/8 in. one-piece copper studs designed to support 300 Amperes of continuous current and accommodate large cable connections.
- Includes a Contura switch for optional manual operation, providing control when power is absent and offering lockout capability for secure maintenance.
- Regulatory note: This product includes a warning regarding chemicals including di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
