The Blue Sea Systems ML-RBS (7702100) is a 500A magnetic latching switch engineered for high-amperage switching of live loads. This bi-stable remote battery switch includes a manual override knob for operation without power and offers a locked-off capability for safe maintenance. It is equipped with tin-plated copper studs to ensure conductivity and corrosion resistance.
- Voltage and Capacity: 24V DC nominal voltage with a 500A continuous rating, 700A intermittent rating (5 min), and 1450A cranking rating (30 sec).
- Control Connection: Integrated Deutsch DTM connector for control circuits.
- Reliability: Silver alloy contacts and 100,000-cycle mechanical endurance for consistent performance.
- Installation Features: 3/8"-16 tin-plated copper studs with 0.875" stud length accommodate multiple cable terminals and label recesses are provided for circuit identification.
- Specifications: Requires 2x 4/0 cable size to meet ratings; 140 in-lb terminal stud torque.
