The Blue Sea Systems 7717 ML-RBS Remote Battery Switch is a 24V DC unit designed for 500A continuous operation. It features manual control with a locking override knob for secure servicing, alongside an auto-releasing coil function that allows for remote operation via a simple SPST or SPDT switch.
- Continuous rating of 500A with an intermittent rating of 700A (5 min).
- Cranking ratings: 2500A for 10 seconds, 1100A for 1 minute.
- Silver alloy contacts ensure reliability when switching live loads.
- 3/8"-16 tin-plated copper studs provide high conductivity and corrosion resistance.
- Manual override knob offers locked-off capability.
- Supports remote LED status indication (requires optional LED).
- Operating temperature range: -10°C to 50°C.
- Terminal stud length of 0.875" accommodates multiple cable terminals.
- Terminal stud torque: 140 in-lb (15.82 Nm).
- Regulatory note: This product contains chemicals, including di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
