Blue Sea Systems 9012 L Solenoid Switch provides remotely controlled switching for 12V or 24V DC systems, with hermetically sealed, vaporproof contacts and ignition-protected construction for installation aboard gasoline-powered boats.
- Normally open SPST contact form
- Input voltage: 9-36V DC
- Nominal voltage: 12V DC / 24V DC
- Continuous rating: 250A using 1/0 wire, 300A using 2/0 wire, 400A using 4/0 wire, or 450A using two 2/0 wires
- Intermittent rating: 275A for 5 minutes using 1/0 wire, 400A for 5 minutes using 2/0 wire, 500A for 5 minutes using 4/0 wire, or 600A for 5 minutes using two 2/0 wires
- Cranking rating: 1,000A for 30 seconds
- Inrush rating: 2,000A for 0.25 seconds, 10 repeats
- Control circuit connection: 20 AWG tinned wire
- Operating current: 0.13A at 12V / 0.07A at 24V; 3.6A when changing state
- Activated by a low-amperage ON-OFF switch mounted remotely
