This C. Sherman Johnson Captain Hook chain snubber provides a secure way to manage anchor chain tension and keep your gear held firmly in place. Crafted from durable T-316 stainless steel, this assembly includes 15' of 5/8" 3-strand nylon line with a professional eye splice.
Key features and uses:
- Relieves tension from your windlass while anchored by snubbing the chain overboard and securing the line to a deck cleat or samson post.
- Secures the chain in your anchor roller while underway for added peace of mind.
- Designed for use with 3/8" and 1/2" anchor chain.

Note: Always keep the bitter end of the anchor chain secure in the windlass while using the chain snubber.
