The C. Sherman Johnson Captain Hook Chain Snubber is designed to secure your anchor chain and protect your windlass from excessive strain while at anchor or underway. Constructed from durable T-316 stainless steel, this assembly includes a 12-foot length of 1/2-inch, 3-strand nylon line with a professional eye splice.
- Fits 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch anchor chains.
- Relieves windlass tension by snubbing the chain overboard and securing it to a deck cleat or samson post.
- Secures the chain within the anchor roller while underway or during anchor deployment for added peace of mind.
