The Davis Instruments Rocker Stopper is designed to dampen the rocking motion of boats while at anchor or docked. Molded from durable, high-impact styrene, these stabilizers are resistant to saltwater and will not damage your boat's hull. The units are designed to nest together for compact, easy storage.
Key Features and Usage:
- Diameter: 14 in. (33 cm)
- Material: High-impact styrene
- Recommended line: 3/8 in. (10 mm) braided or 3-stranded nylon line
- Usage: Tie units approximately 18 in. (44 cm) apart with a 5-10 lb. weight attached at the bottom of the string; hang one string off each side of the boat
- Drift fishing: Can be used with reduced weight or no weight to significantly slow drifting
- Dockside use: Effective at the end of a dock to reduce tip-rocking
