The Davis Instruments Sonic Anemometer provides accurate wind speed and direction measurements using electro-acoustic transducers with no moving parts. This device calculates wind data by analyzing sonic pulses and includes internal calibration for air temperature.
- Solar-powered operation with internal battery backup
- Compatible with Sensor Transmitter (6332 or 6331) and EnviroMonitor Node (6810)
- Suitable as a replacement anemometer for wireless and cabled Vantage Pro2 stations
- Includes mounting hardware, battery, aligning tool, and 40' cable
When connecting to an EnviroMonitor Node, an RJ Connector Node Adapter is required. This unit can also be installed in a Sensor Transmitter to establish additional wind stations for use with WeatherLink Live.
