The Egis Mobile Electric XD Series Single 500 Amp Heavy-Duty Battery Switch / Mechanical Contactor provides high-current switching for marine and other vehicle electrical systems, with manual control and sealed construction for demanding installation environments.
- Current ratings: 500 amps continuous and 1,500 amps maximum cranking current
- Voltage range: 8–36 VDC
- Contacts: Silver alloy contact points for high-amp, full-voltage switching
- Protection: IP67/IP6K9K sealed construction with an integrated Gore-Tex pressure-regulation vent
- Installation: Surface-mount or rear-panel installation; large mounting holes accept 1/4-20 or M6 hardware
- Terminals: M10 stainless steel cable-lug studs with self-locking flanged nuts
- Included: Protective terminal cover and a weatherproof 40-circuit label sheet with blank labels for custom applications
- Manual control: High-visibility yellow knob with on/off labeling; the knob can be left to hold the relay open or closed
- Expansion: Compatible with optional Egis 8790 Link and 8791 Cross Link Busbars for integration with XD Series FLEX, ACR, and LVD relays
- Safety: Ignition-protected for installation in gasoline-powered boats and other combustible environments
