The Fireboy-Xintex Gasoline & Propane Sensor is a replacement component designed specifically for use with Fireboy-Xintex P systems. This sensor monitors for the presence of fuel or propane fumes to support onboard safety.

Installation Details:

  • Mount the sensor near the floor, in close proximity to the propane-powered appliance.
  • Select a location protected from physical damage, such as kicking or mopping.
  • Use #8 mounting hardware and ensure the provided rubber gasket is placed between the sensor and the mounting surface.
  • Connect the unit to your existing system using the integrated quick-disconnect connectors; note that extension cables are sold separately.
  • Do not clean the sensor with harsh chemicals.
