This Fireboy-Xintex propane fume detector is a 2-channel safety system designed to monitor for hazardous propane buildup in boats and campers. Propane is heavier than air and can accumulate in the bilge or below-deck areas, where it poses a significant fire or explosion risk. This system provides an audible alert when fumes reach 18-20% of the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL).
