Forespar Lanocote Rust and Corrosion Solution is a versatile protective formula designed to prevent and halt corrosion on all metal types. It works by displacing water, absorbing existing corrosion, and forming a durable moisture barrier with high lubricity. Ideally suited for harsh salt water marine environments, this solution is effective for machinery, anchor shackles, and electronic contacts.
Applying Lanocote during assembly prevents thread seizure and helps combat galvanic reaction when dissimilar metals are fastened together, such as stainless steel fittings on alloy masts. It also seals porous surfaces and neutralizes acids, alkalis, and salts.
