Unlock superior underwater visibility with the Garmin Airmar B164 1kW 20° Tilted Element Thru-Hull Transducer. Engineered for high-performance vessels, this robust bronze transducer provides critical depth and fast-response water temperature data, crucial for serious anglers and navigators. Its innovative tilted element technology compensates for hull deadrise, ensuring an accurate vertical beam for optimal echo returns, even at speed. Ideal for fast, trailered tournament-sportfishing boats, its low-profile design minimizes drag and allows for safe trailering without damage. Upgrade your marine electronics for unparalleled clarity and precision.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Powerful 1 kW Output: Delivers exceptional depth penetration, reaching up to 1800 feet at 50 kHz and 800 feet at 200 kHz for detailed bottom and fish detection.
  • Dual-Frequency Operation: Operates at 50 kHz (22°x20° beamwidth) for wide coverage and deep water, and 200 kHz (6°x6° beamwidth) for high-resolution target separation in shallower conditions.
  • Fixed 20° Tilted Element: Compensates for hull deadrise angles between 16° and 24°, ensuring the transducer's beam is aimed directly downwards for maximum signal strength and accuracy.
  • Durable Bronze Construction: Designed for thru-hull mounting on fiberglass and wood hulls, offering long-lasting performance in harsh marine environments.
  • Low-Profile Design: The flush-mounted housing protrudes less than 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) from the hull, reducing drag and allowing vessels to be trailered or sit on bunks without risk of damage.
  • Integrated Temperature Sensor: Provides fast-response water temperature readings for comprehensive marine data.
  • Generous 39-Foot Cable: Offers flexible installation options to connect to your compatible Garmin sonar system via an 8-pin connector.

Compatibility:

This 8-pin transducer is compatible with a wide range of Garmin chartplotters and sonar modules, including the Garmin GSD 22 unit, and GPSMAP series such as the 742xs, 942xs, 1042xsv, 1242xsv, 8610xsv, 8612xsv, and 7600 series. It is designed to interface with any compatible 600W or 1kW echo sounder.
