About this product
The Garmin 15 ft. HDMI cable connects a GPSMAP 8400 or 8600 series chartplotter with external video sources and displays.
- Supports video input up to 1080p through the chartplotter’s HDCP-compliant HDMI input, with full-screen or split-screen viewing and audio.
- Connects HDMI devices, including phones and tablets using external adapters or dongles, for audio and video mirroring or streaming.
- Outputs chartplotter video and associated audio to an additional monitor or TV. HDCP-protected content cannot be displayed on a remote display.
- Audio playback on stereos typically requires an NMEA audio cable. Computer touch control requires a USB cable, sold separately.
- DVI-D devices can be connected with a standard DVI-to-HDMI adapter or cable, sold separately.
- The connection is water resistant and secure.
