The GROCO BVS-1500 is a space-saving combination unit that integrates a full-flow ball valve seacock and a raw water strainer into a single component. This design simplifies installation and maintenance, requiring access to only one bilge location for winterization.
Key Features:
- Constructed from C84400 bronze
- Full-flow ball valve with stainless steel ball and stem
- Integrated #304 stainless steel filter basket
- Strainer features a screw-on, screw-off cap
- Handle includes a square hole compatible with standard ratchets
- Includes one grease zerk fitting for lubrication and one drain plug
- No internal tie rods
Note: Lubrication via the grease zerk fitting should only be performed while the valve is in the open position. The zerk fitting may also be utilized for drainage purposes.
