The GROCO SSC-1000 1 in. Engine Flush Kit and Adaptor features a quarter-turn quick-release plug designed to simplify cooling system flushing, winterization, and emergency bilge pumping. When installed on a seacock, this kit provides a versatile service point for marine engine maintenance.

During an emergency, closing the seacock and removing the quick-release plug allows the engine's raw water pump to evacuate excess bilge water. For winterization and routine system flushing, remove the plug and insert the included service adaptor to introduce anti-freeze or dockside water into the cooling system while the engine runs at idle speed.
