The Megaware SkegGuard 27041 is a durable, marine-grade stainless steel replacement skeg designed to protect your outboard motor from damage or repair an existing broken skeg. This unit is built to withstand impacts and abrasion from rocks, debris, and ramp dragging.

  • Construction: Mirror-polished 316 marine-grade stainless steel with a 3mm reinforced lower wear tab.
  • Compatibility: Designed for Yamaha 200-225-250V Max SHO (2013-Present) and 200V Max HPDI (2004-2010) models.
  • Installation: Can be installed in under 10 minutes with common tools; compatible with units having as little as 2 to 3 inches of existing skeg remaining.
  • Design: Features a drain hole to prevent water collection and corrosion; engineered to ensure no discernible impact on motor performance.
  • Warranty: Three-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase.
