PropOne Silicone Remover, 200ml (2011)

PropOne Silicone Remover is a specialized treatment designed to effectively remove PropOne clear coat from boat propellers and running gear. This marine-grade formula also functions as a general-purpose remover for thin silicone coatings.

• Marine-grade formula: Free from Dichloromethane (DCM) and N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP)
• Designed for easy brush-on application
• Effectively lifts multiple stubborn coating layers
• Helps reduce dust and noise during the removal process

Application Instructions:

• Ensure all marine growth is removed from the surface before application.
• Apply a 2mm thick layer using a brush.
• In hot or windy conditions, cover the treated area with cling wrap to prevent drying.
• Keep product away from water contact during the process.
• Allow to sit for 2-3 hours until the coating softens, then scrub with a stiff nylon or wire brush.
• Remove any leftover residue using a cloth soaked in xylene or toluene.
• Do not use on plastic surfaces or resin-impregnated wood fiberboard. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area when working with delicate substrates.
• Follow up with PropOne Paint Stripper for removal of the primer coat.
