The PSS Shaft Seal is a mechanical face seal engineered to replace traditional packing glands, providing a water-tight solution that eliminates the need for constant maintenance and adjustment. This seal utilizes a stainless steel rotor and a stationary carbon flange to create a reliable barrier that accounts for shaft misalignment and vibration. It is widely used as original equipment by major boat builders and serves as an effective retrofit for existing vessels.
