The Scanstrut SB-8-5 Junction Box is a heavy-duty, marine-grade enclosure designed to provide waterproof connections for multiple electrical cables. This junction box features an IP66-rated elastomeric membrane that allows for easy cable routing while protecting against water ingress.
- Provides 5 screw-down terminal blocks with a 400V and 32A rating.
- Capacity for up to 8 cables to enter the box.
- Maximum cable diameter of 0.50 in. (12 mm).
- Constructed from durable marine-grade grey polypropylene.
- Dimensions: 3.35 in. x 3.35 in. x 2 in. (85 mm x 85 mm x 50 mm).
- Internal cable retention system ensures secure wire connections without damage.
- Compatible with optional SB-2G Cable Seals (sold separately) to upgrade to IP68 rating.
- Includes junction box, five terminal blocks, mounting hardware, and installation manual.
