The Scout KS-43 is an 8 ft. high-performance VHF marine antenna, engineered for long-range communication and durability in demanding offshore environments. Constructed with solid brass and copper elements and a 1.5 mm thick extra heavy-duty fiberglass whip, this antenna is fully foam-injected to ensure it is 100% waterproof and resistant to wind, water, and ice.
This antenna features a standard 1" x 14 thread stainless steel ferrule, making it compatible with a wide range of standard marine mounts. It includes a 6-meter (19.6 ft.) high-performance RG-8X coaxial cable with 97% copper braid coverage for shielding against interference.
