About this product

This Sea-Dog ignition safety kill switch is a marine emergency cut-off switch for boats and personal watercraft. It attaches to a life vest and interrupts ignition current when the coiled lanyard is pulled from the switch.

  • Operation: Gray-cap ignition version for applications where the circuit is normally closed with the lanyard clip in place; removing the clip opens the circuit and shuts off the engine.
  • Lanyard: Approximately 15 in. when coiled and 48 in. when stretched; replace if worn, cut, or frayed.
  • Mounting: Requires a 5/8 in. mounting hole and fits panels up to 5/8 in. thick.
  • Electrical rating: Maximum 5A draw.
  • Safety: Test proper function before each use.
