About this product
SEM 2K Urethane Chip Guard is a two-component, shake-and-shoot textured coating for reproducing a range of original-equipment textures and chip guards. The opaque gray coating can be tinted, painted, or used as a textured top coat.
- Format: 12 oz. mixed kit
- Texture: Reproduces fine to coarse and light to heavy textures, with 16 defined textures and detailed instructions
- Application: Suitable for steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, existing OEM paint, polyester fillers, e-coat, fiberglass, SMC, FRP, epoxy primer, and 2K urethane primer and sealer
- Properties: Non-yellowing, non-staining, impact-resistant, chemical-resistant, and suitable for sound dampening
- Working time: 20-minute pot life at 70°F and 50% R.H.; flash time of 0–20 minutes; paint time of 20 minutes–4 hours
- Use: Shake-and-shoot system with no flash time required between coats
- Additional details: OEM recommended, 2K durability with 1K convenience, pinhole-free, and 50-state compliant
