The Simrad NF80 is a wired autopilot remote with a spring-loaded lever for direct non-follow-up rudder control and a 1.7-inch display for adjusting heading, course, rudder angle, and autopilot mode.
- The rudder turns toward port or starboard while the lever is held and stays at its current angle when the lever is released.
- Connects to a Simrad autopilot system through NMEA 2000 using one CAN Micro-C port and one LEN; supply voltage is 12–16 V via CAN, with maximum power consumption of 110 mA.
- Flush-mount installation is supported with included accessories. Desktop or bulkhead mounting requires an optional mounting kit.
- Display resolution: 128 x 64; viewing angle: 12 o'clock; white backlight.
- Steering modes: Non Follow Up (NFU), Auto, NoDrift, and Nav.
- Dimensions: 80 x 144 x 40 mm (3.15 x 5.67 x 1.55 in.); weight: 0.5 kg (1.1 lb).
- Compass safe distance: 0.4 m (15.75 in.). Waterproof rating: IPx6.
