This Springfield Marine 2-7/8 in. heavy-duty pedestal system is built to provide a stable, secure seat mount for larger and faster recreational boats. The permanent mold AC7A aluminum alloy base and the rigid 4-keyed extruded aluminum post are mechanically bonded through a proprietary hydra-forming process to ensure maximum strength and corrosion resistance.
