The StrikeMaster Maven 40V is a lithium-powered ice auger with a 10 in. drill unit, variable-speed control, and forward and reverse operation.
- Electric DC brushless motor with planetary gear system and 27.3:1 gear ratio
- Power button with deadman safety switch, built-in LED light, and bubble level
- Ergonomic soft-touch grips and impact-resistant long filament handles
- Lightweight aluminum hexagonal shaft with proprietary synthetic resin molded flighting
- Twin serrated stainless steel Maven blades, full-length segmented flighting, and compound-formed carriage
- Power Point helps keep the drill unit in place while drilling; magnetic snap-cover blade guard
- 40-volt, 5-amp-hour lithium-ion battery with internal battery management system and 4-LED status indicator
- 2-amp charging base with cell optimization smart charging; charging time is listed as 2–12 hours from empty to full for the 5-amp battery. Wall mountable.
