The StrikeMaster Maven 40V 8 in. Lithium Ice Auger combines a brushless motor, variable-speed controls, and a complete drill unit with a 40V lithium-ion battery and charging base.
- Electric DC brushless motor with planetary gear system and 27.3:1 gear ratio
- Variable speed, forward and reverse, and a power button with deadman safety switch
- Built-in LED light and bubble level; ergonomic soft-touch grips and impact-resistant long filament handles
- Lightweight aluminum hexagonal shaft with proprietary synthetic resin molded flighting and full-length segmented flighting
- Twin serrated stainless steel Maven blades, engineered-compound carriage, power point, and magnetic snap-cover blade guard
- 40V 5 Ah lithium-ion battery with internal battery management system and four-LED status indicator
- 2A charging base with built-in cell optimization smart charging; wall mountable. Charging time is listed as 2–12 hours from empty to full for the 5 Ah battery.
