About this product

The T-H Marine HOT FOOT Universal Original Foot Throttle lets you control your boat's throttle with your foot while keeping both hands on the wheel. It returns the engine to idle when your foot is removed and uses standard control cables for installation.

  • Compatibility: For outboard and inboard marine engines, including Mercury 175-300 Pro XS outboard motors
  • Construction: Cast aluminum with stainless steel hardware
  • Operation: Non-sticking Teflon and nylon bearing surfaces, nylon and Teflon bushings at critical pivot points, and a stainless steel spring return to idle
  • Safety features: Toe clip and patented idle stop for FICHT and Optimax engines
  • Installation: Mounts directly to the boat floor with four screws; screws are not included
  • Cable: Uses standard control cables; a longer throttle cable is not included
  • Optional accessory: Slide Mount HFM-1-DP is available for comfort and multiple drivers
