Important Considerations:
  • This T71FC steering system is not intended for use on boats equipped with engines that exceed the maximum horsepower rating of the boat.
  • For boats consistently traveling faster than 50 mph, a Uflex twin cable (T72FC) or hydraulic steering system is recommended.
  • Maximum allowable steering wheel diameter is 16" (406 mm).
  • Minimum steering cable bend radius is 7.9" (200 mm) for optimal performance and longevity.
