The Uflex USA TM87 is a high-efficiency rack and pinion steering system designed for marine use, featuring corrosion-resistant construction and stainless steel cable output ends. This kit provides a universal replacement solution for standard and non-feedback steering systems, utilizing existing mounting patterns and steering wheels.
Key Features and Specifications:
- Includes G87 front mount helm, TM87XLL high-efficiency cable, and X34 mounting bezel
- Compatible with SSC134, SSC135, and SSC154 cables and SH91610P helm
- Standard 3/4 in. tapered shaft fits steering wheels up to 16 in. diameter
- Cable stroke: 3.7 in.
- Lock-to-lock turns: 3.3
- Cable bend radius: 7.9 in.
- Exceeds ISO 8848 and ABYC P17 safety standards
Installation Notes: The X34 bezel utilizes the same bolt pattern as standard existing helms, allowing for installation without additional drilling. This system is intended for use with engines that do not exceed the boat's maximum horsepower rating. Steering wheel is sold separately.
